I've had this reel about 3 weeks now. I use it two or three occasions a week and it has performed as great as my $150.-$225. reels. I like it so significantly, I ordered one more one yesterday. If they final only a year, I'm ahead of the game. I would not send it back to A.G. They charge as much for repairs as a new reel expense but this one particular will give you your money's worth.
Both reels are now trash.You can wash them and oil them but they nonetheless get corroded and cease working smoothly. Lasted only nine months. Not as really good as I hoped.
