I bought this reel about a month ago. Always heard about Pfluegers reputation. Not until i fished this reel did i seriously recognize the craftsmanship they put into all their reels. For an affordable reel it cant be beat. I received my reel in the mail with ground shipping in 3 days. I will continue to order from Amazon and would refer this item to a friend.
Reel is esp smooth. Infinite anti-reverse. Tends to make a fantastic trout reel when filled with 8lb test mono. Regrettably the stem could be a bit longer by about 1/4". For me. I have rather significant bear paws and when the line roller mechanism comes around it hits my knuckles. I did not deduct for this as for me it is popular with spinning reels. Overall it is a rather fine reel. The Pflueger President is a bit improved and worth the added funds if u have large hands. Really good reel is a keeper even though.
