I appreciate fishing with my husband, but in the past I would invest a very good deal of time untangling knotted line. This reel so far seems to not allow loops to form when casting. It is a tiny heavier than my other reels but it really does permit me to cast pretty a bit farther than my other reels!
The only factor I would have liked a small far more is a function that older reels have.... the small "trigger" that assists you grab and hold the line just just before you cast. (Maybe that is just a "girlie" function, but I like it. Of course, it really is not a "should have" by any indicates).
All in all, a rather comfy reel.
Well, I just got this reel just before last weekend. I went on a huge fishing trip and it was marvelous! I was able to land 8-10lb fish with ease!
